Flattest Ride Yet

Greenville MI to Chesaning MI
75 Miles

Today's ride was nice and easy perhaps due to a slight tailwind, a gentle downhill road, a nice pace line, or just plain rested after a good nights sleep. We had our first rest stop at a pretty park and again lots of fruit and vegetables thanks to Joy at our lunch stop.
After completing our scheduled ride of 60 miles I rode another 15 miles out and back mostly along country roads to ride with a group of our riders who were just finishing. A great way to end a very pleasant day of riding.

Tonight we stayed at the Bonnymill Inn which is a very quaint inn with beautiful, large rooms. One rider who started with us in Portland ME but because he chose to ride longer days and camp separated from us on day two. He has now rejoined our group and will ride with us and camp at night. The hotel let him set up his tent right in the middle of their grounds. How cute is this.
After dinner we walked around Chesaning and saw the Showboat the town is famous for, a local park on the river, and many historic houses.
