Riding Through Lavender Fields

OIHarlowton MT to Round-Up MT
70 Miles

One of the highlights of today's 70 mile ride was biking through beautiful and fragrant lavender fields and seeing cows peacefully grazing alongside the road.

We arrived in Round-up early in the day to find out that the Big Sky Motel we booked was 7 hours away. Luckily the Big Sky Motel in Round-up had rooms for most of us and found rooms for the rest of us at the Ideal Motel down the road. All I can say is, "it's not the Ritz."  Here is a photo of how we do laundry at the Big Sky
There's not much going on in town and actually each town keeps getting smaller and more desolate than the last. On a walk this afternoon we came across a "Hanging Tree" where horse thieves were hung back in the day. Pretty depressing.

On a happier note Sundays ride will complete 3 full weeks of riding and everyone is in great health and getting stronger.
