75 Miles
Today was my longest ride yet and I felt great. Even threw in a little sprint near the end. Climbed 2500 feet but no sharp climb just a gentle uphill over the entire ride.
We rode along the Clearwater and Lochsa Rivers, crossed over footbridges, saw beautiful mountain vistas and met another group of baby boomers also biking cross country on a route similar to ours (although they are camping and carrying all of their gear in panniers - cant even imagine the organizational nightmare of that each night).
We arrived at our little cabin in wood that felt like summer camp. Tomorrow we enter Montana and see what adventures await us there.
